Day of her birth!

Kelly had her 39 week check up at 9:45 AM on Monday, June 16th and her Doctor said, "You are dialated to 5 and ready to go. I don't want you having this baby on the Interstate, so check into the hospital at 1, we'll break your water and get you going!" WOW! The long awaited time is now here! Grandparents and siblings were called and wheels were turning, heading to Minneapolis, hoping all would all arrive before our baby was born! They broke Kelly's water at about 4 PM and she was given the epideral around 7 PM. At 9:45 she was dialated to 8 and both sets of grandparents-to-be, Emily and Amanda went to the waiting room to give Kelly some rest. After laying on her side for about two more contractions, Kelly thought the nurse better come in and check her again. Sure enough, fully dialated so let's get pushing! Kadence Raelyn was born at 10:30 PM weighing in at 8 lbs. 2 ozs. and 20 3/4 inches long with a full head of dark hair! We surprised the waiting family, telling them they could come in to the room around 11:20 to see Kelly before she started pushing. When they all arrived, there was Kelly sitting up in bed holding our precious little daughter! What a Shock! What a Doll! What a Blessing!
