Thursday Fun!

These are pictures from Thursday. Mommy dressed me in my cute ghost shirt from Auntie Jenny, so we needed to take some pictures by the pumpkin! I was a good girl with grandma in the afternoon when mommy was at her clinical. We went for a bike/run/rollerblade/stroller ride! Mommy and Grandma rode bike, Auntie Em rollerbladed, Daddy ran and I bet you know I was in the stroller!!

I have never seen this orange thing before!

Grandma, this makes it easier for me to sit up!!

This was with Mommy before she left for clinicals ~ Isn't she cute!!

She makes me smile!

Grandma bought me some pumkin footies with rattles in them ~

Well, Mommy and Auntie Em are home, so now we are really adding to the decor!

These leaves are pretty!

Here I am getting ready for our outting on the trail! How about those shades?!

I think this is going to be fun!

We had to stop for a photo! Look at all those leaves!

Now it is photo time with Auntie Em, Grandma, Mommy and me ~ Really, I think Grandma just needed a rest from the bike! :)

Mommy and Auntie Em needed a pic together!

Grandma's Here!

It is teacher's convention and grandma has a couple days off from school, so she came to visit us! Grandpa is still busy with the beet harvest, so he had to stay at home. Mommy had clinicals this afternoon, so Grams and I have been hanging out! She is making homemade vegetable soup with lots of dumplings, so mommy and Auntie Em are really excited~ I think daddy likes that too! We were on Skype, and I got to see and visit with Auntie Jenny in Las Vegas ~ That was really cool! I am sitting on Gram's lap now while she is doing this. She thinks she can maybe teach me how to keep this up!! It might be a couple years I think!

OK.............I didn't pull myself up, but I think this is pretty cool!

Look Out ~ I am on my way down!!

I am warning you, you don't want to see what is beneath this towel!!

See..........I told you!!

Mommy and I had just come back from a walk outside!

I like to scoot to get my toys now!

I am drooling alot now too, so I need a bib..............and changed often!

I am a pretty happy baby!

I like my stuffed toys too!

When mommy came in to see what I was doing, I had gotten over one of my favorite books ~ I think I know some of these words!

I was getting my rings on my wrists as well as in my mouth!

This is a cute outfit that I am borrowing from my friend Brooke!

Grandma is so happy her drive is over and she can hold me now!

I just love this sweater!

I was leaning up against the couch~

Now you can see the whole outfit ~ I am lucky to have a friend like Brooke who is a few months older than me!!

Notice my shiny chin ~ Full of drool!

Auntie Em and I are doing some snuggling!

Back Home ~

It has been a busy week since we got back home! Mommy had to go to her clinical on Monday, and Daddy brought me to my babysitter Kim in the afternoon when he had to go to work. I was a much happier girl today with Kim, so mommy was happy about that! I drank 5 ounces at one time with Kim ~ I think I am having a growing spurt! Jim, Kim's husband, even came home early from work so he could have some baby time with me! Mommy had to work Monday night, then went to the airport to pick up Auntie Em at 7:30 AM on Tuesday when she got off work. Daddy had to work early that morning, so they came to Kim's to pick me up! Auntie Em was so excited to see me, and I sure missed her too ~ She thinks I grew during the week! Auntie Em stayed during the day on Tuesday, but then traveled home that night. She said she was going to see Grandma and Grandpa, but I know better ~ it is Marcus!! She will be back on Saturday and she starts work on Monday!

I was such a happy girl after my THREE hour nap today!

Hey, What do you think about this!?

I think it is pretty funny actually!

I had to sit down for a rest after that standing!

When Grandpa Tom saw this picture, he said he thinks I am going to be a little stinker!! I think he just might be right about that!! :)

The ND visit!

We got to see quite a few people when we were home for Great-Grandpa's funeral and that was good! The time went by quickly and soon it was time to head back home. Here are a few of the pictures during the time we were home.

Beet harvest has started, so grandpa Tom is working long days! I think he even forgot to shave this morning too!!

Mommy and Daddy brought me over to see Grandma at work! That was fun to see all the kids and teachers at the school!

We went out for a walk in the evening ~ It was a little cool and my nose was red when we got back to the house!

These are some of the pumpkins from Grandpa's garden

I am sitting on top of the little picnic table Grandma bought for the little ones!

There will even be room next summer for Kaden and my cousin Baby Felton to join me!

I am trying to reach that one really red apple up in the tree!

I decided mommy's shoulder would be as tasty as any apple would be!

This is the big corn field behind grandpa and grandma's house~

Having a little 'bare butt' stretch and creep forward time before my bath

I don't know about this for a relaxing bath! Grandma, I think I am ready for your bathtub next visit!!

A Very Sad Day ~

Monday, September 29th was a very sad day for us. We found out that my great-grandpa Ken was in a very bad accident when he was driving a grain truck and he was in the hospital. Mommy, daddy and I left on Tuesday to see him. It was very sad to see him like that, cuz that is not what great-grandpa would want to be doing! He loved to visit, he loved watching all sports and he was a golfer too! My daddy said that great-grandpa golfed on Sunday, and he was one over par~ He was pretty happy about that! He ran the chains when my daddy played football for the Valiants and I don't think he missed many of his basketball games either. Early on Wednesday morning, Great-grandpa Ken died and that makes us very sad, but we are very thankful for the wonderful memories. I know that Grandpa Ken and daddy will continue to share many stories with me about Great-grandpa, and that will make me smile!

This is at my baptism in August, and great grandpa Ken is on the right.

Doesn't Great-grandpa have big hands compared to mine!

We love you Great-grandpa Ken~ Thank you for touching our lives in so many wonderful ways!
